Alas, This is my last piece of work for AO3, after this I shall have to decide what I shall be producing for my final piece. So for this piece I decided to have a crack at High Speed Photography and see what I could potentially produce for AO4.

For this topic I took a range of photos, these are my favorites:

DSC_0248 2.jpg

(Camera Settings: ISO - 800. Aperture - f/5.6. Shutter Speed - 1/1600)

DSC_0236.jpg

(Camera Settings: ISO - 800. Aperture - f/5.6. Shutter Speed - 1/1600)

(Camera Settings: ISO - 800. Aperture - f/5.6. Shutter Speed - 1/1600)
(Camera Settings: ISO - 800. Aperture - f/5.6. Shutter Speed - 1/1600)

But Charles! You never did High Speed Photography for any of your studies?! How does this relate??

I actually have done this before, note back in AO1 when I studied bubbles. To capture the reflections and spontaneous movements I had to shoot at high shutter speeds which almost match those shown above, with High Speed Photography you are capturing what the human eye cannot see.

Ideas for AO4:

The Fish bowl gallery:

So for this idea I plan on buying a fish bowl and placing my photographs (printed on water proof or laminated) inside said bowl. The idea being the filled bowl relates to the subject of photography I am doing. Not only that I plan having a constant source of water which supplies water droplets that fall into the bowl.

Conclusion:

After searching for the materials needed for this piece, and their price. I have decided that the best idea out of the four I have researched and discussed for AO3 is my long exposure study.
