We are now on my third favourite study for this unit. Blur photography is when you make the shutter speed just slow enough so that it causes moving objects to appear blurred. There are two techniques used most often when it comes to this medium. The first is when you track a subject as it passes so that its details become sharp. The other style of blur photography is to shoot on a static camera and allow moving objects to pass by creating blurred lines around the subject of interest. I have mainly focused on static-blur photography for this unit and you can find my entry here and here.

In preparation for this and AO4 I took this photograph:

"The Photographer" (ISO:100. Aperture: F/3.2. Shutter speed: 1/20.)

Ideas for AO4:

The Wind Sign Idea:

So to fit along with blur photography showing the movement of fast moving objects I thought it would be interesting to make a wind sign much like that shown to your left. My only problem/s with this idea is that; A - I would have to produce something similar to the sign and B - I would have to photoshop "The Photographer" image so that the train image has moved slightly or slightly altered so it looks different, thus when the product is spun around it gives the impression that the train is accelerating past the photographer.

Conclusion:

As much as I like the sound of this idea I believe that the time it would take to produce this would take too long to complete in the time that I have currently.
